David Myland Kaufman, M.D.

David Myland Kaufman, M.D., is Deputy Director of Residency Training, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Director of Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center.

In addition to having published more than 24 articles, he has authored the classic textbook, Clinical Neurology for Psychiatrists. He is the originator and for 30 years directed the annual course of the same name. He has also co-edited Child and Adolescent Neurology for Psychiatrists and Neurologic Disorders: Developmental and Behavioral Sequelae in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics. He graduated from the University of Chicago School of Medicine and has been a visiting professor there, at Ben Gurion University in Israel, and other medical schools.

  Andrea Weiss, M.D.

Andrea Weiss, M.D., is Deputy Director of Residency Training, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

She has published on the subject of suicide prevention and is co-director of the nationally renowned psychiatry board preparation course, Psychiatry for Psychiatrists. Dr. Weiss received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she also completed her residency training in psychiatry.
